Katharine Tate, (BEd (Hons), FAETC, Dip ION (Distinction), BANT, CNHC, Association of Naturopathic Practitioners, Guild of Food Writers) is Founder and Director of The Food Teacher™, combining Education & Nutrition for a Healthy Family.
She has worked as a teacher and education consultant internationally in primary and secondary schools for over 20 years and published curriculum material for schools in the UK and abroad. She is also a qualified nutritional consultant. With her growing following as The Food Teacher™ and her Young Chef Awards, Katharine has developed an international reputation as an expert on the impact of nutritious food for all individuals especially growing children and families.

Katharine also launched the Young Chef of the Year Award for schools in 2017, which has been hugely successful to date.
